Exchange, Credit Note & Quality Assurance Policy

At Pear Bear, every creation is thoughtfully crafted with care, precision, and attention to detail by skilled artisans. Our collections are designed to celebrate meaningful moments while delivering exceptional quality, comfort, and timeless style.

As part of The Pear Bear Promise™️, our garments are thoughtfully created to offer lasting value beyond a single occasion. Due to the limited-production nature of our collections and the craftsmanship involved in every piece, Pear Bear does not operate a general return-for-refund policy.

However, we remain committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and customer-focused resolution process through exchanges, replacements, and Credit Notes where applicable.

Exchange Eligibility

Most products are eligible for exchange, except:

•⁠  ⁠Customized or made-to-order products
•⁠  ⁠Products altered or modified after purchase
•⁠  ⁠Products with custom add-ons
•⁠  ⁠Products purchased during final clearance or promotional sales
•⁠  ⁠Hair accessories (exchange eligibility only)

Exchanges are available for products of the same value or higher. Any applicable price difference must be paid at the time of exchange.

Pear Bear reserves the right to decline any exchange, replacement, or Credit Note request that does not comply with the conditions outlined in this policy.

Exchange Requests

To ensure timely assessment and resolution, exchange requests must be reported within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@pearbear.in with:

•⁠  ⁠Order Number
•⁠  ⁠Product Name
•⁠  ⁠Reason for Exchange

Upon approval, the return address and further instructions will be shared.

Approved products must be shipped back within 7 days of delivery using a courier service of the customer’s choice.

Shipping & Processing Charges

•⁠  ⁠Customers are responsible for arranging and bearing the cost of return shipping for all customer-initiated exchange requests.
•⁠  ⁠Return shipping charges are non-refundable and will not be reimbursed by Pear Bear.
•⁠  ⁠Where a Credit Note is issued, a 10% Processing & Handling Fee will be deducted from the eligible product value.
•⁠  ⁠This deduction applies to approved Credit Notes arising from customer-initiated exchanges, cancellations, or exceptional approvals.
•⁠  ⁠Original shipping charges, taxes, duties, COD charges, and other service-related charges are non-refundable and are not included in the Credit Note value.
•⁠  ⁠In cases involving a damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete product supplied by Pear Bear, the applicable reverse shipping and replacement shipping costs will be borne by Pear Bear upon verification of the claim.

Product Condition Requirements

To qualify for exchange or Credit Note consideration, products must be:

•⁠  ⁠Unused, unworn, and unwashed
•⁠  ⁠Free from stains, fragrances, odours, makeup marks, or signs of use
•⁠  ⁠Unaltered in any manner
•⁠  ⁠Returned with original tags, packaging, and accessories intact

Products purchased for photoshoots, events, occasions, commercial use, or showing visible signs of wear will not be eligible for exchange, replacement, or Credit Note consideration.

All products undergo a quality inspection before approval.

Our Commitment to Quality

Every Pear Bear order undergoes careful quality inspection before dispatch.

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@pearbear.in along with clear photographs and order details.

Upon verification, Pear Bear will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include:

•⁠  ⁠Product Replacement
•⁠  ⁠Size Exchange
•⁠  ⁠Credit Note

as determined by the circumstances of the case.

Credit Note Policy

As most Pear Bear creations are produced in limited quantities and involve significant craftsmanship, eligible exchanges, approved cancellations, and exceptional cases are settled through a Credit Note rather than a monetary refund.

Credit Notes:

•⁠  ⁠Are non-transferable
•⁠  ⁠Cannot be redeemed for cash
•⁠  ⁠Are valid for six (6) months from the date of issue
•⁠  ⁠May be redeemed exclusively on www.pearbear.in

Any price difference for higher-value purchases may be paid at checkout.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase by emailing info@pearbear.in.

Approved cancellations will be settled through a Credit Note after deduction of the applicable 10% Processing & Handling Fee.

In rare circumstances where Pear Bear is unable to fulfil an order, customers may choose between a suitable replacement product or a Credit Note.

Legal & Policy Information

All disputes and matters arising from purchases made through Pear Bear shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Pear Bear reserves the right to amend, modify, update, or interpret this policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version published on the website shall supersede all previous versions.
